DNS Change History
Track every modification to your domain's DNS records over time. DNS Change History provides a complete audit trail of when records were added, modified, or removed.
Viewing Change History
Navigate to Workspace → DNS Change History. The timeline shows all detected changes for your selected domain.
Each Entry Shows
- Date & Time — When the change was detected
- Record Type — Which DNS record changed (DMARC, SPF, DKIM, MX, etc.)
- Previous Value — The old record content
- New Value — The updated record content
- Change Type — Added, modified, or deleted
Use Cases
- Troubleshooting — If email delivery suddenly breaks, check if a DNS record was recently changed
- Audit & Compliance — Maintain a record of who changed what and when
- Unauthorized Changes — Detect if someone modified your DMARC policy or SPF record without authorization
Automatic Detection
SpoofWard checks your DNS records daily and detects changes automatically. You don't need to manually log anything.
